Cookies

General information

In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use technologies, including so-called cookies, on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).
We use such technologies that are mandatory for the use of certain functions of our website (e.g. shopping cart function). These technologies collect and process IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website (e.g. information about the content of the shopping cart). In the context of a balancing of interests, this serves our overriding legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We also use technologies to fulfill the legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g. to be able to prove consent to the processing of your personal data) as well as for web analysis and online marketing. You can find further information on this, including the respective legal basis for data processing, in the following sections of this privacy policy.

Mandatory fields are marked as such, as we absolutely need the data in these cases to process your contact. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. After your request has been fully processed, your data will be deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to use the data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

4. ANALYSIS TOOLS AND ADVERTISING

Google Analytics

For the purpose of website analysis, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information and information about your use of our website) is automatically collected and stored with Google Analytics, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies can be used for this purpose. Your IP address will generally not be merged with other Google data. Data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement on order processing by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for “Google products and services”. This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and then use it to improve Google services. Data sharing with Google within the framework of these data sharing settings takes place on the basis of an additional agreement between controllers. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we use the so-called User-ID function. With the help of this function, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to your interaction data from one or more sessions on our online presence and thus analyze your user behavior across devices and sessions.

We also use the extension function of Google Analytics Google Optimize to create and carry out tests.

The extension function of Google Analytics Google Signals enables so-called “cross-device tracking” for web analysis. If your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the “personalized advertising” setting in your Google account, Google can create reports about your usage behavior (in particular the cross-device user numbers), even if you change your end device. We do not process any personal data in this respect; we only receive statistics created on the basis of Google Signals.

Browser plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection to data collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

5. PLUGINS AND TOOLS

Google Web Fonts

This page uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google, to uniformly display fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps

This page uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and easy traceability of the locations indicated by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Google reCAPTCHA

For the purpose of protection against misuse of our web forms and against spam, we use the Google reCAPTCHA service within the scope of some forms on this website. Google reCAPTCHA is offered by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operated under Irish law with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.de). By verifying a manual entry, this service prevents automated software (so-called bots) from performing abusive activities on the website. According to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in the protection of our website against misuse and in a trouble-free presentation of our online presence, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests.
Google reCAPTCHA uses methods within the scope of the check, which enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies, by means of a code embedded in the website, a so-called JavaScript. The information automatically collected about your use of this website, including your IP address, is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In addition, other cookies stored by Google services in your browser are evaluated by Google reCAPTCHA.
A reading or storage of personal data from the input fields of the respective form does not take place.
Insofar as information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the JavaScript or the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by preventing the execution of JavaScript or the setting of cookies in your browser settings. Our presence on social networks and platforms serves for better, active communication with our customers and interested parties. We provide information there about our products and current special promotions.
When you visit our online presences in social media, your data can be automatically collected and stored for market research and advertising purposes. So-called usage profiles are created from these data using pseudonyms. These can be used, for example, to place advertisements inside and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to your interests. For this purpose, cookies are usually used on your end device. These cookies store the visitor behavior and the interests of the users. This serves in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR the protection of our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer and effective communication with customers and interested parties, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests. If you are asked by the respective social media platform operators for consent to data processing, e.g. with the help of a checkbox, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
If the aforementioned social media platforms have their headquarters in the USA, the following applies: There is an adequacy decision of the European Commission for the USA. This goes back to the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate for the respective company can be viewed here.

If the processing is for other purposes, you have a right to object only if there are reasons arising from your particular situation.
